Red Dead Redemption 2 animals can teach players how to behave in real life
According to researchers, players have learned to accurately identify animals from the game RDR 2 in the real life. Not only that, how to distinguish types, also predict their behavior. The game is only about 200 animal species. Really, in Red Dead Redemption 2 animals behave very realistically.
Researchers from the University of Exeter said, that players have learned to distinguish on average 10 from 15 species. It’s on 3 more, than those, who hasn’t played RDR2. The research was conducted by the quiz method. One player even stated, that the game taught to determine the behavior of a ram, about to attack.
